|Recommended: NoNot awdul not the best — The staff isn’t friendly, maintenance doesn’t come. My apartment was completely trashed when I moved in and instead of fixing it to maintain and give the quality equivalent to the amount in rent I pay we were told to submit photos so we won’t be charged.
|Recommended: NoBeautiful place, unresponsive staff — We didn’t have wifi for 3 weeks. My maintenance requests from August still have not been addressed I was moved into an apartment where almost everything was broken . Staff has no understanding or empathy for these issues, and has been incredibly rude. I saw overheard two leasing office employees laughing and talking about how “annoying” I am after asking for the third week what was happening with my wifi. They had told me daily “it’ll be fixed today” so I had hoped they’d be understanding rather than call me annoying in front of my face. There is no sense of urgency or understanding among the staff.
response from property -Hello Jasen,
I wanted to express my gratitude for your review. We truly appreciate your feedback. I understand how frustrating your experience has been, and I want to assure you that we are committed to addressing the issues promptly.
I'm curious to know if you now have access to Wi-Fi. I will personally have a conversation with the staff to ensure they are more considerate and respectful when dealing with residents. Please keep in mind that for certain issues, such as internet problems, we rely on a third-party provider, which can sometimes lead to delays in resolution. Nevertheless, we are dedicated to ensuring that you have a positive experience in our community. You should always feel comfortable coming to the leasing office to discuss any concerns or even share positive feedback.
I'm actively working to address your concerns, and if you have any additional questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to email me at [email protected].
Thank you once again for bringing this to our attention.
Best regards,
Justin

- Management
|Recommended: NoManagement — I have had the worst time with this property. Especially with this new management change. I am so unhappy with knowing Danielle had left because she was the only employee that was helpful and respectful while abiding by the rules she was given. Pam on the other hand is the worst unprofessional person I have ever met. I am not the only one that has had issues with Pam and her threats. I came back to my apartment over July and I had a hole in my roof from water damage and I have not been updated on anything so hopefully nothing else in my apartment has been damaged. My apartment was not clean or had the appropriate maintenance done before I moved in anyways so I am not surprised on why my place is falling apart I am sure I won't get my deposit back because you guys don't want to give back money when the property is spotless or the same as move in . Water filters are never changed and ignored. Since new management nothing has changed and has gotten worse. I was called and said I didn't pay my utilities but I did and then all of a sudden they said they reloaded the page and it was there. That is impossible because the money was there for a week so that means they weren't looking. I was charged to start new insurance but I did not cancel it, they did, so we had to pay a fee just to set up the insurance and charged for the month as well which is absurd. I have also been here going on my 4th year and being charged astronomically but you would think being a resident somewhere for 4 years I would have some sort of discount or rate staying the same and not being increased but no. I am only writing this review say to do better and I am trying to be an advocate for future residents.
We do appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback, Summer. We do know that this transition to the new management has not been as smooth as projected, but we are finally all set up and our resident have access to all online features. Last we spoke, I did assist you with all your concerns and you were super happy and thankful. So to see this review I am little dishearten. That same day, I did inform our maintenance team of your concern regarding your ceiling. Josh did send Nick to inspect the apartment. The leak was fixed, all that needed to be done was the patch work. After speaking with Josh in regards to this review, he did admit that he forgot about repairing the hole. We are currently in the middle of our student turnover so things are hectic and I can completely understand how this would slip his mind. He did tell me he would get by there this weekend to patch it. We do have over 640 residents residing in CollegeTown and things do slip through the cracks from time to time, Especially since our last conversation, I have not heard from you other than your email today regarding your insurance to which Sadie, one of our CA's responded to. Yes, all current insurance policies were through the old management company and effective 6/30/2023, each of those policies were cancelled by them. The new insurance provider with the new management company is ResidentInsure. All residents that were with Assurant, we auto enrolled into ResidentInsure for the month of July. This is why there was that charge placed on your account by them. As for the utility billing, this is done by Conservice, A third party billing agency we use. They do email you the statement prior to posting to your account so you can see the upcoming charges for the month. Though we appreciate you residing in CollegeTown for the past few years, we are even more so excited that you have chosen to renew again for another year! Hopefully this year you will see that our team as a whole are amazing people who do strive hard so each resident has a enjoyable living experience while staying here in CollegeTown! We simply ask that you give our team and myself the opportunity to address issues prior to leaving reviews especially if you didn't give us the opportunity to remedy the situation first by following up if something was overlooked.
